Why consider 3 Oaks Photography as your wedding photographer?

You are taking a big step in your life’s journey by getting married. You are in love with another and you have decided to share your future. You are planning your next steps, arranging for the venue, the flowers, the dresses and now you are looking for that photographer who will be there to capture your day as you imaged it, probably from when you were a little girl.

I believe that the photographer who covers your wedding should do so seriously. They should have a certain amount of skill and intuition as well as the artistic ability to take advantage of situations to create beautiful and memorable images. They should also be able to meld with your personality and make you feel comfortable in front of the camera as well as being able to handle their equipment well and take great images.

Every Bride, large or small, tall or short deserves to have images that make you look the best you have ever looked. Every wedding deserves to have photographs that you will be proud to show off. You also deserve to have photographs that reflect your tastes, your attitude.

Our typical investment for a wedding for a half day starts around $1,600. Full day coverage (about 10 hours) with two photographers starts around $2,500. What do we cover? Everything time permits and what we see happening around us. I often refer to us as “your personal paparazzi”. Pre-Wedding, Ceremony, After-Ceremony, Park, Reception, Uncle Louie from The Bronx, who and whatever. If it’s at your wedding, we’ll photograph it. You’ll get a DVD of edited images from your wedding and a slideshow when you come back from your Honeymoon. And we’ll show you what your album could look like. How many photos will I get? Our most common question. Have a look at the Gallery, there’s not enough room on the server for every image, we left out table shots, parents, grandparents, the Church, Uncle Louie, etc. Shall we say you’ll have more than enough to keep you busy for a few hours? One of the most important aspects of the wedding is the Engagement Session. That’s where you will become comfortable with the camera, we’ll discuss what you are looking for, you’ll have fun, you’ll laugh, you get some really, really great images and come the Wedding Day you will be one of those relaxed Brides that get really, really, good, relaxed looking photos. Highly recommended and comes with goodies. The Engagement Packages start from $400 and include a photographic session, DVD and either a small guest book with your engagement images or an 11”x14” framed photograph with 3” matte for signing.

What will you get? A DVD of unmarked, proof images is included with every wedding. We look over each image, accept or reject, crop, adjust  the exposure, add effects and tweak the image so as to reflect the photographer’s vision. And those are just our proofs. We also include the rehearsal shots if available. (We’ll cover your rehearsal, no charge, if applicable.) You’ll also get a slide show of select images that will show you what you missed that day. And if you give us the music, we’ll add the tracks you used for your wedding. If you did an Engagement Session, you also get the Engagement DVD.

Not sure you want an album? We’ll have a soft version for you to look over when you come back. You don’t need to buy, it’s free to look at. If you would like to purchase one, you just need to tell us and we’ll do the rest.

We know you may want to get your images printed elsewhere, so we have not included any prints smaller than 5x7 in our print packages. We leave the number of small prints you want totally up to you. But we want to make sure that wherever you get the prints done, they will look fantastic. Of course, we can print them for you as well, we use commercial labs specializing in printing, so our prints look WOW.

We offer customized canvas wraps, traditional matt albums and printed books, domestic or imported, for you to show your treasures off with. We have accounts with Asuka, Epoca, Vision Art, and several other manufacturers to give you maximum choice. You can choose a presentation album and we can do a Wedding Story for you as well. We can have your  best images framed for you, making sure that everything is done properly and with the best results.
